NEW DELHI: Daiwa has launched a new 40-inch smartTV in India. Bearing a price tag of Rs 22,990, it’s available for purchase on both Amazon and Snapdeal.
The Android-powered smartTV features a Full HD display of 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It comes with the ‘M.Cast’ mirroring feature that allows users to directly share content from smartphones, tablets and PCs. There’s also a ‘Web Cruiser’ remote controller included for seamless internet access.
In terms of connectivity options and ports, Daiwa’s smartTV comes with Wi-Fi, HDMI (2), USB (2), and SD card slot (1). There’s also a USB-to-USB data transfer functionality included.
Major features of the TV include Cinema Zoom Mode, Smart Energy Saving Eco Vision, and wireless headphone control. The TV comes with surround sound and equalizer in a single remote to control the TV and media players.
Daiwa’s director Arjuun Bajaj commented at the launch, “Our 40-inch Full HD smartTV is a pioneering product in every sense of the term. Such core technology excellence, smart features, sharp video and high-fidelity audio quality are currently present in very few products in the market, but not at this attractive price point. We strongly believe that this product will set a new benchmark in the television technology industry.”
A while back, Noble Skiodo launched its 32-inch smartTV – 32SM32P01, in India. Priced at Rs 19,999, the HD smartTV has a 1366×768 pixel resolution. It’s powered by a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU paired with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage
The Noble Skiodo 32SM32P01 has built-in Wi-Fi and other standard connectivity options like USB, HDMI, VGA and LAN. The three HDMI ports can be used to connect the TV to numerous devices such as PC, gaming consoles and DVD players. Users can also connect external devices with USB to turn the TV into a complete entertainment hub.
